Had my 335i sorted here, total redo of the headliner. The quality of the material used was incredible, OEM look and feel. Flawless installation and no damage to the vehicle all for a fair price. With the amount of disassembly required i am always nervous about getting this done, but i highly suggest this is someone you can trust with your pride and joy!

Unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience with Iain at Headliner Heaven, who made a total mess of my car. I hired Iain to replace the convertible top on my Boxster S. Initially, Iain seemed helpful, like he knew what he was doing, has great reviews, responded quickly etc. So I went with him hoping I would get a top quality job done. He wasn't home at the time we arranged for me to drop the car off (even though we organized it almost 2 weeks prior and I confirmed a couple of days before) and told me to leave the keys in an unlocked and obviously labeled "drop box" less than 5 meters from the car. This should have been a warning as to how this operation is run. He got the roof done the next day as he said he would, and I picked the car up the following day. Everything seemed fine on first glance, I had a quick look over it while chatting to Iain, the roof looked good from the outside, we shook hands and parted on a positive note. Only when I got back and walked past the front of the car I noticed some glue sticking out from behind the front license plate. That's when I noticed that the entire front plate holder and frame was gone and the plate was glued directly to the mounting blocks on the car, and in a very rough manner. Worst part, it wasn't even centered! (Photos attached) When I asked what happened, Iain said he bumped into it and broke the holder (fine, things happen), so he decided to glue it back without telling me and said "it looks better without it". Apparently he "forgot" to tell me about this until I brought it up. To his credit he offered to fix it but after seeing the initial "fix" I declined and said I would do it myself. At this point I started questioning the quality of workmanship and had a close look around the rest of the car. Lo and behold, I find the following: - Overspray, from where he painted the side trims, on the exterior paint of the doors and rear quarter panels, all over the window seals, on the leather door cards, on the roll bar on both the leather and painted sections, and on the seats on both sides of the car. The trims weren't even painted properly and the paint has a cut off line at the bottom on both sides - A cut on the leather on the drivers door - A cut on the windscreen seal near the top - Scratches on the paint above the windscreen by the roof - A finger print of glue on the paint above the windscreen - A patchy looking repair on the inside of the roof on one of the support straps with tape and glue - Glue all over the underside of the headliner and the inside of the roof on the rear - The window seals not replaced properly in the mounting channels, but instead just urethaned on which began falling off in 2 days and the urethane sticking to the door window. I refitted them properly myself in about 10 minutes, which speaks to the quality of work done here. Photos of all this are attached. I let Iain know about all this within 24 hours of picking the car up, to which he responded: "I don't think so mate please nothing to do with me You no how many folk go over there car once somethings done and point out everything that they never noticed before I fitted a roof that's it Yesterday you were happy your car is full of imperfections nothing to do with me" All of this is clearly and directly related to the roof replacement. Very poor workingmanship and the attitude to match. Needless to say I would NOT recommend going with Iain at Headliner Heaven.
