  Very disappointing experience at Supercheap Auto. I called in the morning about the $30 car scan to ask if I needed to book and how long it would take. I was told no booking was required, but that they were short-staffed until 10am — so I was advised to come at 10. I arrived exactly at 10am, only to be told that the staff member who can perform the scan doesn’t start until 11:45am. So I was given incorrect information over the phone. To make it worse, the store was nearly empty with two staff members at the front, yet I was told they couldn’t do what is advertised as a 10-minute job. I was then informed that car scans are only done until 2:30pm — something that was never mentioned on the phone. Poor communication, poor organisation, and a complete waste of my time. If you advertise a service, at least make sure your staff give consistent and accurate information.

  Great customer attention! All the staff (special shout out to Russ) was really kind and helpful. We got some great guidance around how to fix some scratches on our car ourselves.
