Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else, great communication, fair prices and good work.

Will try to charge you for more work that doesn’t need doing or will replace wrong part and say “he thinks it’s right” when vtnz wof sheet needs another part replaced. DO NOT GO HERE he will take advantage of people with little to no car knowledge if he gets the chance.

Do all my wof's at Auto Mechanics and receive good service and quick friendly feedback. Had tyres fitted on my VW polo and Bmw. Received good prices and quality service. Highly recommend Auto Mechanics for all mechanical services on your vehicle.

Great service, indepth feedback and transparency regarding the issues that the car has as well as how to maintain it in the future. Frans helped me on short notice after an engine light came on during a road trip.
Good communication and well priced. Highly recommended

My partner came to him with a vtnz failed wof sheet for the steering rack end having play and was asked to replace. Instead of that he did his own check and decided the tie rod end was the problem so he replaced that with no consult to my partner about it. after paying $335 after he estimated would be $160 job. Went back to vtnz to get the wof and guess what it failed on what he was supposed to replace but didn’t. So we
then went back to auto mechanics and he looked at it and jacked the car up to check the play in the rack end( car is supposed to be on the ground with someone turning the wheel to feel for play which is a common practice at vtnz wof checks) he then told us there is no play in it (there was) I then asked if he can call vtnz and talk which he did then sent us back to get the wof. To no one’s surprise there was still play in the rack but the nice inspector decided to put it down as a note saying it has to be replaced soon or before next wof. If it wasn’t thanks to the nice inspector we would still have to replace the rack end after being $340 out of pocket for a part we didn’t need.
