I have never experienced such proffesionism, expertise, understanding and compassion from a garage. They are amazing and I highly recommend them. Maygem is a real gem, the best.

Booked car in for a service a week in advance. Service carried out on the day ok and I was phoned to say service was complete and car ready to pick up. Next day noted service light still illuminated. Assumed it was just not reset. Went in to ask for it to be reset and was informed that the service was incomplete because there was no brake fluid in stock. I was not informed at pick up that the service was not complete and that there was a need to come back. If I had not gone back in to ask about the warning light reset I would have assumed that everything necessary had been done. Very poor communication. Car now rebooked for the brake fluid.

Terrible! Two awful experiences. Massive lack of customer service. All staff unfriendly and don’t look like they can be bothered to help. The first time was for a service and the car took 5+ hours rather than 3. And was almost double the quoted price.
The second time the car took 3 hours rather than 1 hour (and this was a extra trip from Picton to Nelson for a airbag recall that they would have known about and could have ordered in for the first service & saved me a trip)
Saw everyone else’s car being washed but didn’t happen either time. Lack of signage to know where to take your car and don’t expect much help here from the service guys.
Would never bring a car back here again. Will go to Christchurch (from Picton) instead.

Car service 17/2. No paperwork of work carried out provided. Please email (not received) and post a copy. Note the digital record has been set incorrectly for next service at 12 months or 9,700km. Were the tyres even rotated? What servicing was carried out? I was asked to come back from Blenheim to pick the paperwork up. These guys are great to deal with on the phone but sadly lack in person customer service or to even check paperwork and servicing had been carried out. Car is usually washed and it was not and covered in lots of gummy stuff on the car and windscreen. Not happy. Previously great to deal with.
