At least the mechanic was friendly but $90 for a ten minute diagnostic scan is robbery. Maybe different with locals but for me it's a no go

Was great first time for a simple wof, took over a month to get a quote for a simple alternator after arrangements for it to be delivered then aa ended up taking it their, during the second time during interactions they failed to provide a quote in over a month for a simple alternator change and wof, then charged 760$ for the alternator fit alone which is a simple 30min to 1 hour job, As a repco and super cheap trade member owning 2 companies entering 5th year of business each i was able to check pricing of the new alternator to find out it was over priced, other mechanics quoted less for the simple job and part at every other mechanic enquired at, seems like a rip for an old car with mostly new parts all round from tyre's to radiator even tho it doesn't look the best, will be taking the over pricing issue to the commerce commission, this mechanics is likely looking at a fine for a super overpriced simple job and low cost part, only recommended if your willing to get charged more than expected, especially on low cost parts and short time jobs all other mechanics qouted at a lower price, was no replys when am told will be called back by the office ladies and about a month for a simple qoute is ridiculous, am glad am in the media industry and word of mouth is extremely powerful, Nodkosis Productions LTD & Nostalia Records NZ LTD

Incredible service and really nice staff. We came in with a rental car that had some issue with the brakes. The car wasn't fit for driving so they called the rental car company for us and arranged everything. We even got a ride into town and back to the shop to pass the time until a replacement car arrived by the car rental company. Awesome
