I called Monday morning about booking an assessment on replacing 2 control arm bushes. They said bring it down now. So, assessment and price quote done by lunchtime Monday. I accepted the price and they said they'd order in the parts, so bring it in on Wednesday. Due to early work commitments on Wednesday, they took the car Tuesday afternoon and had it sorted by 10am the next morning. It looks like a good team with Euro car and Toyota knowledge. Efficient and friendly. P.S I'm still waiting for a quote on this particular job from my other garage that picked up the fault 2 weeks ago, so I'm moving on to my new go-to garage at Pit Stop Napier.

I’ll be honest: I didn’t want to go to a chain or franchise as I've always preferred the personalised care of a small local mechanic who gets to know your car and its quirks. But the Google reviews for Pitstop Napier were on the ecstatic side of enthusiastic, so I figured I should do my due diligence. Would reality match the hype? Turns out... hell yes! — and then some. I suspected a hole or crack in the muffler, so called them up. A very friendly chap told me to whizz round and he'd check it out. Now. For free. The problem was intermittent, so the next thing I know I’m taking Jayden on a tiki tour around Bluff Hill for a good 20 minutes — at no charge — trying to demonstrate the issue. We get back, he does a couple of things and (without going into detail because it’s a bit embarrassing) he sorts it. For free. In short: the best, most generous, whānau service (turns out they're actually a family-run business) you’ll find anywhere. Ten stars if I could give them. Instead, they've got a loyal customer for life.

These guys are legends. They have looked after me and are reasonably priced an honest as. Pitstop Napier is the only mechanic workshop I trust and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I'm a loyal long term customer. Thanks guys for going above an beyond for me, I truely appreciate it.
