The employee on the front desk were extremely professional in their dealings with me. As a customer of the Pit Stop Whakatane branch, I was very pleased with the excellent service they provided. It is reassuring to know that you have such dedicated and capable staff. I highly recommend to visiting them.

There customer service is disgraceful.
Our car broke down on our way to work Tuesday 4/11/25. The towies uplifted it and dropped it off on Tuesday morning as the alternator & only the alternator needed to be replaced.
The owner spoke to my husband and said it would take 4 hours.
Two days later, after my husband chasing up its progress numerous times, after being told they would contact him on its progress and never did. They finally came back on Thursday saying there were other problems that needed fixing. We only asked for the alternator to be replaced.
They then proceeded to tell my husband they wouldn't be able to get to it until possibly the following week.
At that point, my husband (a quiet man) asked for his keys back, returned the courtesy car and contacted Clint Boon. They got our car fixed and alternator replaced in a few hours that same day, Thursday 6/11/25.
Clint Boon, now thats service!!
Thats how you look after your customers & that's how you get repeat business.
Pitstop Whakatāne you will never get our business again.
My question is, If you can't honour your word, how hard is it to communicate with your customer, especially a customer who only works two doors down from your shop. How hard is it to even pick up yr phone and have the integrity to communicate with yr customer.
Alternatively, how hard is it to take 5mins of your time, to walk two doors down and say bro, Im sorry but we've gotten really busy and we won't be able to get it done today.
AJ - Poor customer service by your staff.
And a side note AJ. Even if the Towies dropped our vehicle into your store a day early (on Tuesday morning instead of Wednesday).
Today is Thursday 6/11/25, and by this afternoon it still hadn't been done. How does that equate to 4 hours.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT... if your staff instead of spending their time & energy on finding other problems like the air-conditioning. Then maybe they may have had the time to get the alternator replaced in the timeframe you told my husband.
Like I said you will never get our business again.
