Scotty and his staff are incredibly helpful. When I was worried about losing some vacation days if the parts for my old van needed to be ordered, he said, 'bring it in and we'll take a look', two days before my appointment. Then he grabbed a test light during his lunch break and solved my tail light problem on the spot. You can tell that customer service is the first priority from the instant that smooth professional voice says 'Hello Scotty's'. My advice to everyone is go to Scotty's!😊

Very reasonable prices by these guys. Took my BMW 3 series in to replace valve cover gasket, managed to book it in quickly and they didn't even charge me for the loan car. Also didn't charge me a premium cause its a European vehicle unlike other some shops.

As I have previously reported, Scott and his team are my Go To mechanics on Woodcocks Rd in Ww. Classics / Rods are Scott's Specialty, but they cater for everything across the board. Courtesy Cars are usually available, toilets on site.
**Parking room is a nightmare so be careful driving btwn the buildings.

Worst experience i have ever encountered with a auto repair service provider. Had my car towed at 1pm on Friday to there garage due to mechanical issues on my way to Whangarei for work. I clearly consulted with the garage and the guy that picked up my vehicle that i needed my car by the next day in the evening due to my work equipment and my home and work keys on the chain. He said it can be arranged and that someone would give me a call later that evening to see whether if it needed an overnight job and to give me my options so i can make arrangements.
They never called me. I left countless messages for them on their business line, i contacted their automotive network AUTO SHOPPE and they too could not get a hold of them. I contacted their facebook page and still no response.
1. Communication was ridiculous and promises to make contact which they didn't forcing me to pay them $340 (Including tow from breakdown spot) to tow it to Albany on Monday when i could have made arrangements on that day IF they made contact with me. I got a hold of the guy i spoke to and he said "It was not his responsibility to make contact with me" despite him saying he would contact me on the day he picked up my vehicle.
2. They returned my car with my back seat pulled out and not reattached. (No explanation to why they did that).
The casing for the engine was not put back but tossed into the passengers side of the car.
The battery of the vehicle was completely DEAD and when asked why it was completely dead the guy responded that he "PROBABLY LEFT THE IGNITION ON" all the way down to Albany.
Highly do not recommend them and the attitude i got in response to my frustration was clear to me that their expectation and standard of customer service is not that important.
Now in the hands of another local mechanic who is charging 1/4 the price they quoted me.
