I’ve been looking for a reliable, honest mechanic who specialises in European cars for a while now, and Andrew and his team are amazing—I can’t praise them enough. His communication throughout was clear and honest, and he worked with me to get the best value when sorting everything for my WOF.
I’ll never go back to VW; they’re overpriced and I’m convinced they’ve previously charged me for work that wasn’t actually done.
I had a service and WOF done on my GTI, and I couldn’t be happier. Silverdale Car Services is a family-owned business I’ll continue to support and trust with my car. 10/10 service!

I’m really impressed with the service! My car’s headlights were in terrible shape—yellowed and making night driving difficult, not to mention looking awful. They cleaned them so well and restored them to their original condition. Thank you so much!

Amazing experience every time. Whether it’s a WOF, regular maintenance or repairs, Andrew and the team always deliver friendly, honest and reliable service. I believe I spoke with Megan & Elise in the office and they were both lovely. Highly recommended. Thanks team :)

I booked a pre-purchase inspection and couldn’t be happier with the service. Andrew was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, giving me peace of mind about the car’s condition.
Elise in the office was warm, friendly, and made the whole process really smooth and easy to organise. The level of professionalism from both Andrew and Elise was outstanding. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for an honest, reliable team for a pre-purchase inspection!
