I had a great experience with Southend Motors. I took my van in for an urgent repair due to a power steering leak, and they sorted it out straight away. The team acted quickly and professionally, which meant I was able to get back to work as soon as possible. Really appreciate the fast turnaround and reliable service. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for honest and efficient mechanics in Island Bay!

Excellent service. Attended to our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter promptly and competently when it required resetting of AdBlue fault codes during a relocation trip. Centrally located. Took the van in for a service, was not told that a service does NOT include anything. Only oil filter & oil change is what they constitute a 'full service'. They also check over the vehicle, which sounds great, however they misdiagnosed the problem, costing me $1000 i did not need to pay. Still have a knocking in the steering after work is done & now $1000 out of pocket. Plus the other $250 for the extra filters to be changed on top of the $400 'service' (oil change). Incompetent. Now i know why this was the only garage in Wellington with availability this close to Christmas. I should have known.

Excellent service and communication. Did clutch and brake work on my van just before Christmas. Harminder worked hard to get it sorted keeping me informed and even supplying photos. A few other issues were discovered and sorted out. Pricing was more than competitive with a full breakdown of work done on the invoice.
