A few years ago I flew from tepuke to dunedin to pick up a Chevy van that I had purchased on trade me , the speedo was not working , so I stopped at a auto electrician in timaru on the main street to see about getting a cigarette lighter port fitted so I could use my nav mam for a speedo , the 1st place I stopped there were 3 blokes leaning on a work bench smoking and talking, I approached them and politely asked if the would install a lighter fitting for me , they're reply was that they were way to busy and turned their backs on me and continued smoking and talking ( I so wish I could remember the business name as it was on the main drag ) I left and continued my journey , just down the road I saw STANS AUTO ELECTRICAL, I parked and approached the gentleman in the work shop , he was more than happy to help me and did it then and there , AND HE ONLY CHARGED ME $15 FOR THE PART AND LABOUR , MEGA MEGA THANKS TO STAN , You have renewed my faith in timaru , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS FOR THEYRE HELP , PROFESSIONALISM , ATTITUDE, YOU GUYS ROCK MEGA BIG TIME , so sorry it's taken so long to post this review
I dropped in unannounced with a faulty heater blower unit. These guys couldn't source a replacement but spent an hour and a half putting new bushes etc into the blower motor and got it going so I could continue my journey to Dunedin. Brilliant service, awesome price. I HIGHLY recommend Stan's Auto Electrical. Thanks guys for the awesome customer service.
We have replaced batteries in both of our vehicles in the last month unfortunately, but the guys at Stan’s made the experience a positive one! Reasonably priced, prompt service and loan vehicle offered freely made the task a breeze. Will certainly be using them again and recommending them to others! Thank you Warren
