$100 for a scan to be told car had serious issues, no actual explanation as to what they were, failed to mention 100 charge when booking for analysis, have had other garage look at results to be told none of them are serious issues, just computer noise.... rip off

I had an issue with my campervan's second battery and inverter. I initially went to Taupo Automotive Repairs (across the road, who were very honest and explained they couldn't handle the specific campervan electrics, but they highly recommended going directly opposite to Taupo Auto Electrical.
Great recommendation! I called Taupo Auto Electrical and spoke to Sam. Even though they were clearly very busy, he was incredibly helpful on the phone and told me to bring the van by, explaining they could likely look at it in the afternoon. He was also upfront about the potential cost for the diagnosis.
True to his word, they checked the system later that day. After diagnosing the problem, Sam clearly explained what was wrong and quoted the cost for new replacement parts.
Here's what really impressed me: I asked if it would be possible for me to source and supply the replacement part myself, and Sam was completely accommodating and happy to install it for me once I got it. This flexibility was amazing!
They fitted the part I provided, and now everything is working perfectly again.
I'm incredibly grateful for the professional, honest, and flexible service from Sam and the team at Taupo Auto Electrical.
Following the recommendation from Taupo Automotive Repairs was the best decision. Highly recommend Turbo Auto Electrical for any auto electrical issues, especially with campervans!
