Tried Waipapa Auto Repairs to fix a blocked DPF. I was charged $70 just to scan the car. A further $220 just to diagnose the issue and then an extra $90 to clean the DPF which didn't even work. All up $437.25 for no result Conversely, when I got back to Auckland, my local mechanic located and fixed the issue for a fraction of the cost using the same method.

I was given a quote $1,000 + to fix some things on my car. It didn't sit right with me so I went and got a second opinion. $150 spent elsewhere and my car is completely fixed. Thank God I got that second opinion.
