This place is worth every penny. I called to get my car serviced, and they booked me in the same day and had everything completed within a couple of hours. I had an ongoing issue with a clicking noise when reversing and had taken it to a couple of different mechanics, but no one could figure out the cause. These guys were awesome and quickly identified the problem. Thanks to Chris and his team for the great service!

These guys are great. I use them whenever my car needs a service or repairs. They're honest and have great communication, ringing you once a diagnostic has been completed to run through issues and check whether you want to go ahead with repairs. If it's not urgent work, they don't pressure you into going ahead with it.

As Backpackers, we're often the easy target of dishonest people, especially with our cars. In years of travel, i have experienced this situation more than one time. It's why, before leave New-Zealand, i was so lucky to find Your Neighbourhood Mechanic (not so lucky in truth, cause it was another traveller who recommended me this adress during my travel). In one minut, they checked and resolved for free a problem with my heat when another garage told me that he needed to spend hours for find and fix the problem. The day after, they worked on my car and i paied less that what they told me at first. Highly recommanded. Dear backpackers colleagues, definitely go there without fear of being scammed.

Very kind, fairly priced, and honest! They were upfront about the services and repairs they could offer, alongside even fixing a minor unrelated issue that I hadn't mentioned. Will absolutely use again when the need arises, and wholeheartedly recommend others to this business 😊
