They did a great job of repairing my vehicle, and promptly. I was recommended to them by a friend and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs collision repairs to their vehicle.

Excellent service from the first text through to the final completion of the repair. My car looks brand new...down one side now.
I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.
Once Insurance was sorted they scheduled the job quickly. They were able to give me a rental and they completed the repairs quickly and efficiently - and excellent repair job done. And when I asked them to address another couple of other issues (that I paid for) they went over and above to get them sorted…. Bottom line - very impressed with Shield Bros Kamo.

Well established business in auto body repair and paint.
Generally easy parking on site, depending on customer demand. Report to reception (which is clearly marked), for service. Don't enter any workshop areas.
Minor damage assessments can be generally be done once a registration form is completed. You'll need the vehicle registration, and your drivers license. Move away from the counter to complete the paperwork.
An assessor will come and get you to show where damage is. A quote will be issued a day or so later, to either seek clarifications, accept or reject. If accepted,
Reception will then be able to set dates for the work to be done. For larger insurance claims the vehicle may need to stay on site for insurance reps to view.
Take your insurer's details including that of any other parties contact details.
Work only takes place once all the paperwork is done and endorsed. Repair deposits nat be requested.
There are a few courtesy cars available. Check this with reception.
If dropping you vehicle off for repair etc. Leave your keys at reception. Bring your assessment paperwork. Remove any loose valuables from the vehicle also.
Something recently discovered is the damaged internal plastic panel mounts. A number of plastic 'dcrews' were found to be snapped off and not replaced. Main item was a cargo hook that needs replacing. Very disappointing for the final QA not be done properly. Check your vehicles internal panel fixings is the key learning here.

Had someone back into the door of my open boot which stopped it from being able to close/lock of my van that i’m currently travelling nz and living in. This happened on a Friday afternoon, I showed up to Shields Bros Kamo unannounced and they went above and beyond to help me out, taking my van in straight away to temporarily fix it so that i was able to close and lock it. From there they were super proactive in sourcing the parts needed for proper repairs. Because I am travelling they have transferred me to one of their Auckland garage to get the proper repairs done. All the staff there are so lovely, thank you guys for all your help, really appreciate it!!
